The City of Minneapolis Department of Arts and Cultural Affairs (ACA) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a pool of professional arts service providers with demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
Selected providers will be added to a Master Contract List that will remain active for a period of up to three (3) years. Being included in this pool allows ACA to invite pre-qualified providers to bid on specific projects as opportunities arise and services are needed.
The Department of Arts and Cultural Affairs exists to advance, support, stimulate, and promote a diverse and active arts and cultural ecosystem. Our mission is grounded in equity, civic engagement, and artistic excellence—supporting programs and partnerships that reflect the rich diversity of Minneapolis and uplift the creative voices of our communities.
As a small department with ambitious goals, we are seeking experienced partners who can help us grow our impact, invest in community, extend our reach, and contribute to a thriving cultural landscape for all who live in, work in, and visit Minneapolis.
The Master Contract List of Arts Service Providers will reflect a broad and diverse range of skills and expertise with a focus on the following artistic disciplines: Music, Dance, Theater, Film, Visual Arts, Craft, Design, Architecture, Fashion, Literary Arts, Media, Culinary Arts, Public Art (Murals, Temporary Installations), Festivals, Venues, Presenters and Cultural Traditions present in MN. This initiative is part of ACA’s efforts to build capacity and expand its ability to deliver dynamic arts and cultural programming across the city.
